Daniel had been working through the night on a double murder case. They bodies were something else, like a puzzle. Daniel was thankful that he was able to get out of Colorado Springs but this was the only Station that would hire him. Though he wished it wasn't doing this. Dealing with death was something he wanted to avoid for a while but then again what a better way to get over it. He had been on the job for a few weeks now and this was the first case he was working on. A part of him still missed Colorado Springs but Daniel did what he was good at, running away from the pain.
Daniel's time in Iraq had been sealed by the goverment and only those with high enough rank were allowed to see it.. It was the main reason why he had a hard time getting a new job. Though he was thankful for this chance to prove he was worth something. He still wasn't sure what to make of the cops here yet, he really didn't get a chance to sit down and talk to anyone yet. He had finished putting the bodies back together and was running their prints at the moment along with the DNA. Their ids were still uknown. Though he needed to get a shower and cleaned up, that had taken about ten minutes to do. Now he was in the break room enjoying a cup of coffee and a Hersey's Dark chocolate bar at the moment.
He turned his back to refill his cup after that, he started to walk towards the door. There was still alot of work to be done and Daniel was pretty sure he was one of the few officers around at three in the morning.

Cecilia hadn't been around this precint much since she had just been hired on not very long ago actually. One of the younger people working here, gave her something to work at. To show she was just as good, as the more senior members that had been here much longer then herself. Only having met a few of them, who got her aqquanted with her surroundings in her first days here. Sometimes she wondered why she chose this path, with so much death and heart break because of all these crimes. Then she remembered her mother, she swore she would make her proud and study up even if she was dead now. But she hadn't been expecting to use her knowledge at a police precinct either, which came as a startlement when she got the offer to work here.
She had decided to go in early, because of a case the precinct had been working on for three days. Alot of the people where either getting annoyed, or they were so exhausted some just couldn't think right. So what did they do? they send in the freshmeat in her opinion. Jumping in the shower she washed up pulling on a baby blue button up dress shirt, and a pair of blue jeans. Fixing her hair so it would stay out of her way dureing the day, lucky for her unlike alot of women she didn't have to put much make up on. Just some eyeshadow and a very pale neutral beige colored lipstick, because any more could flake off the skin and contaminate any evidence or samples they would get. It wasn't even 30 minutes later that she got to the quarters, stepping in. She wasn't expecting to many officers to be there, nodding to a couple of them. Before making her way onwards towards the lab, she only knew of this person named daniel working on the case, but had never met him in person.
She reached the lab, before anyone else had. Or in this case before daniel did, talking to another whom had been working on the case. Getting some of the information, and some of the latest outcomes. After having set her jacket down on a hook, doing like she normally did. Tugging her sleeves up to her elbows slightly, to give her better access and working room.

Daniel was used to having a desk to hide his candy in and usually had a full stock of it. He was trying to get a desk down in the morgue so he could have his own desk again. He had only been her a week or so himself and was getting used to everything. He also wanted a desk so he had a place to stick a coffee pot so he wouldn't have to run around so much. Chocolate and Cofffee was what he usually ran on when he was working hard and forgot about everything else.
Daniel was thankful that not many people were around, it gave him the chance to really sit down and think about the case without having someone bug him every couple of minutes. A couple of the cops thought it was strange with someone like his background was giving the rank of CSI along with the M.E. postion he was pulling. Daniel was pretty sure it had to do with the fact he knew twenty different langaues well not all of them were spoken, a few of them could only be written and a couple them could be read. It was all a mixure of writing, speaking and reading mixed together. It had came down the stairs and around the corner, heading back towards the mourge. The lab was on the way and he glanced over into the lab. Seeing a young female there, he wondered why she was in so early.. or working late.
Daniel walked into the lab after pushing the door open with his shoulder. "Working late or coming in early?" He asked before taking another bite of the open candy bar in his hand. There was another one but he hadn't opened it yet. He wondered at what age she went in college because she appeared to be so young but then again Daniel really didn't look his age either. Daniel had entered college when he was sixteen and had his Master a couple of years later followed by a PhD and the his MD came along later. Working overseas was his finally part in getting that degree. The college had thought he dropped out on them after not hearing from in a year. Though it was a shock to them when he showed up with some Air Force Officers.
Daniel pushed his thoughts aside as he leaned against the wall, watching her for a moment.

This whole job was a new experience to her. She was used to the classroom, and not really having to be exact only enough to get her by on the test. But this was also what she liked about it, it actually made her use her brain that she barely had to use in college. Since most of it came naturally to her, she rummaged idly through some of the files. Eyes scanning the different codings and print that was scrowled across the papers. Random notes scribbled down with evidence, boy was she glad she had three cups of coffee before she came here. To her working under pressure gave her, better insight she was a strange woman that was for sure. While anyone that knew her wouldn't argue either, because for some reason she had always, had a calm head under pressure. This might have been due to her up bringing, with her fathering being in the military. He would constantly put her in tough positions all the time, and make her perform tasks at a set pace and time. His thing always having been, in the real world you gotta learn to move fast, be ready for anything and meet your challenges at a fast pace.
This she kept close, expecially after her mothers death. Trying to just fit in places, while maintaining grades sometimes it could drive a person to the brink of insanity and back. The other person that was with her, had finally moved off to another side of the lab to do something. Grabbing a pencil that was tucked behind her ear she sat down at a computer, entering a few things. Before letting her eyes trail over the list that came up. When she did finally hear the door open, before she could look up she heard a mans voice. One she knew she hadn't heard before, glancing up as she smiled nodding her head before speaking Nope just coming in early is all. Best to get a head start before the place goes bonkers. Standing up as she moved over to the printer as a paper came out, with a list of possible matchs. Before speaking once more looking up from the paper I don't think I have met you before? of course I haven't met alot of people around here yet. But I am Cecilia Marsallini the new Recruit for D.N.A Analyzing and computers"

Death wasn't something that bothered Daniel anymore and he wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not. It wasn't something he really could talk about, it would be kind of strange talking about death to someone. Besides there wasn't anyone he really knew around. A part of him was glad that this job gave him time in the field and in the office. Though he was a bit more of field person than office. Even though he often would work hours, days really where he would be in his office and forget about the time that passed. Daniel was on his sixth cup of coffee in the last five hours. Caffine never really had much effect on him anymore. Keeping calm was something Daniel was good at.. well he learned how to. Though he wasn't good at following orders at all. Orders was something that was always broken with him.
Daniel lost both of his parents at the same time and then he was bounced around from foster parents. He never talked about, the pain was still to real for him. He never fit in anywhere, he was always the awakard geek. Though since he ment Jack, that had changed and his shaggy hair was gone. Daniel returned the smile before taking a drink of his coffee which he liked strong. "Working late for me." He explained, he hadn't been home in almost fourty six hours. He showered and changed in the locker room a few hours ago. Though he hadn't shaved yet. Sometimes he would go through a period of time where he didn't shave. "Haven't meant you yet either. Daniel Taylor. CSI and M.E. What case you working on?" He asked, he wasn't sure who else was brought in the case he was working yet. But they really needed help on it before the guy or women had more time to escape. He would have shook her hand but his hands were full and he didn't feel like moving from his spot at the moment.

This wasn't her favorite job, the only thing she hated the most was when it involved children the most. She couldn't understand why idiots like them people would do something to a child. Then again human nature was messed up anyhow in her opinion on them. She prefered the office to field work any day, its wasn't that she didn't have a strong mind or a strong stomach. She just didn't like to have to act like the crimes didn't bother her. She nodded smiling abit as she spoke " ahh I see, always interesting i guess" when he asked which case she was on she looked up speaking " Nice to meet you Mr. Taylor, I am working on a Double Homicide actually. The boss said the people on the job could need some more help. What case are you on?" Waving the lady that was across the room, she handed her the papers speaking Run these three people here, find the one that matchs the D.N.A cellular make up and structure. These are the three I have narrowed down so far, and if you can go find out if you can get a further in dept background on them." The woman nodded as she took the papers.
Before Cecilia moved once more to the table she had her stuff on, picking up a bottle of water. Taking a quick drink as she spoke once more " it's really nice to meet new people around here. Rather new to this whole place actually, only been here a few weeks."

Daniel finished off his candy bar as he stood there watching her. People watching was something he picked up from Jack and found it useful now and then. Daniel never understood people who abuse childern or killed for a living. He shrugged his shoulders. "If you find it like that." He told her, he wasn't sure what was so intertesting about his working like. If Jack was still around, Daniel would have been dragged off long ago to his bed. As he listened to her explained what case she was working on. He figured that she was just brought in not too long ago. "I just finished putting the bodies back together on that case about ten hours ago." It was a long process and it had taken a while to figure out what part belonged to who. They were both female so that didn't help much. He just gave a nod of his head to what she was talking about.
Daniel was too tired to really answer, he was waiting for all the lab work to come back on the case so he could move forward. "When you get the DNA back, finger prints ran through the system and we got some ids on who these jane does are, let me know. I think I my got lay down on one of the tables in the moruge and try to get some shut eye. Unless you need help on something." Daniel was still wearing the blue scrubs but this time he was farely clean, not blood or anything like that covering him. He still needed to the post, figure out the cause of death and all that fun stuff. But he wasn't suppose to be doing that until this morning around nine or so. He thought about starting on it early but he was just starting to feel how tired he was. "Same here. Moved from Colorado Springs so I got to get use to the weather also."
